HALICARNASSUS
Custom Made - Special Edition Fountain Pen
The first settlers of Halicarnassus, today's Bodrum, were the Leleg people. Inspired by the houses of the Leleg people, we designed the upper part of the pen cap in the shape of Leleg Houses.
We used 925 sterling silver for the metal parts of the pen,
in reference to the
elegance of the women
of Halicarnassus.
On the pen cap ring, we depicted the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus,
one of the Seven Wonders of
the World, built on
behalf of King Mausolus by his wife
and sister Artemisia, of which
only ruins have survived to this day.
On the body ring of the pen,
we depicted Bodrum Castle, which was built as St. Peter's Castle by the Knights of St. John starting in 1402.
We completed the head and body of the fountain pen in a dome-shaped form, inspired by the Bodrum Historical Tombs.
We chose German quality and used a Jowo stainless steel nib for the pen. We used the natural stone color on the top and bottom of the pen and the white stone color on the cap and body of the pen, inspired by the historical structures of Bodrum. We used the highest quality Italian acrylic in these materials.
